Throughout 2023/24 DuracoreSilent has been called in to a number of multi-unit developments in Hamilton & Auckland where previous onsite acoustic testing using other floor coverings, didn't reach the G6 Building Code standard of IIC55.
In all cases, DuracoreSilent (only 7.5mm thick) was easily installed over the existing floor or in place of the originally specified floor product, ensuring new onsite tests met and often exceeded engineer expectations & most importantly, the G6 Building Code Standard.
